Bobby Harrison, one of a handful of people who claims to have seen an Ivory-billed Woodpecker, stopped by our office recently. He was in town to speak at the Milwaukee Audubon Society's Natural Landscapes Conference on February 17. Since April 2004, when he and Cornell scientists announced their rediscovery of the Ivory-bill, Harrison has spoken to more than 60 gatherings of birders and naturalists, telling about his sightings and playing a video that he says shows an Ivory-bill flying.
